It's National Veterinary Technician Week!

Every year we celebrate a special week in October dedicated to the vital team of support staff surrounding our veterinarians to help deliver the care our patients deserve.  Our doctors could not do their jobs without these crucial team members.  We have a remarkable group of registered veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, and receptionists.  Each individual contributes a unique and vital role to the team, and we are so grateful for them.

Our staff is committed to continuing education to keep their knowledge and skills current, but we are especially proud to have four team members who have earned their veterinary technician degree.  These individuals have poured extra effort and time into schooling to become registered veterinary technicians and continue to complete yearly educational requirements to maintain their licenses.  As credentialed veterinary technicians, below are just a few of the "hats" these highly trained individuals might wear:
  • Anesthetist
  • Nursing care
  • Phlebotomist
  • Radiology technician
  • Oral Hygienist
  • Educator
  • Lab technician
  • Surgery tech.
  • Manager/Leader
  • Emergency triage
  • Equipment troubleshooter
  • Much, much more
We want to extend a huge Thank You to our registered veterinary technicians, Alexis, Brittany, Jessica, and Alyssa.  Would you join us in thanking our technicians as well as the rest of our support staff for all that they do?
