We are excited to announce that we now have the capability to provide therapeutic laser treatments at Alexandria Animal Hospital.  Therapeutic or "cold" laser therapy can be used as an adjunct to traditional treatment for chronic inflammatory conditions (i.e. arthritis, chronic otitis or ear infections) as well as accute inflammation, post-surgical pain, or trauma.  It can be especially helpful for those patients that are on the maximum level of pain medications without finding significant relief, or for those that cannot tolerate the typical pain medications used for these conditions.
